Why this helps before a video call
Video calls in a browser need a recent browser, a secure page, camera and microphone access, and WebRTC. This page checks all four. Low memory or few CPU cores can make video choppy when many people have their cameras on. Close other apps and tabs if your computer struggles.
Device info questions
How do I find out what browser I have?
It is shown at the top of the table, with its version number.
Why does it say memory or CPU is not shared?
Some browsers, including Safari and Firefox, hide these details for privacy.
Is my device ready for Google Meet or Teams in the browser?
If the camera and mic API, secure page and WebRTC rows all show Supported or Yes, your browser can run video calls.
